000000000000   I picked Professor Mac to replace my old iMac hard drive purely based on the glowing reviews online, and I'm glad that I did. Greg was quick to reply to emails, professional and provided all the necessary details and options. He upgraded my 2014 iMac Fusion drive (the spinning disk part) from a 3TB to a 4TB as the old drive is about to die. Greg was able to take my machine in the morning, replaced the drive (not easy to do on an iMac) and have it ready for pick up again within a few hours. Absolutely fantastic experience. 000000000000   I foolishly upgraded my 'Late 2015' iMac to Big Sur only to experience speeds that I have not had since my first Macintosh computer 30 years ago. Online tips where of zero helpfulness. An hour and 50 minutes with Apple Support also proved fruitless. The only solution that seemed to hold out any hope was backgrade the OS or get an SSD. I opted for the latter and discovered Professor Mac. The Professor said I could drop it immediately to his 'laboratory'. One hour later it was in his hands. 18 hours later it was back on my desk. And my four year old Mac absolutely screams along. Quick, courteous, competent. I should also add 'competitive'. It cost me $382 for 1T SSD, installation and data transfer. It has probably saved me triple that in time waiting for Outlook to trickle on to my desktop!!! I wouldn't be writing this if I wasn't totally rapped by the Good Professor's work.

000000000000   I called Greg random Google not having read any reviews to ask a question, His response was are you in front of your computer ? over the phone he walked me thru step by step to do a major reset that had many blocks at many stages of the reset etc (not easy for me virtually computer illiterate ) we got my computer up & running in no time, Greg is honest most patient & highly professional in his dealings without any doubt I HIGHLY recommend him. 000000000000   Put my dinosaur mac from around 2012 in for potential resurrection after it no longer wanted to start up. Greg's communication was extremely prompt despite it being around the Christmas and New Year holiday period. He was able to provide options on what upgrades to undertake to get it going again and also took care a rogue script that was filling my hardrive faster than i could delete things. 000000000000   Professor Mac was recommended to me by my brother. Greg was quick to reply to emails, professional and helpful. He upgraded my 2012/13 Mac which now runs faster and has more storage. Logic Pro X no longer crashes when running multiple tracks and my piano plugin (which others run on a dedicated slave computer) runs quicker and smoother. Greg was also able to replace a battery on a 2011 MacBook Air which had expanded and was left as paperweight for 4 years. I saved thousands of dollars. Collected the next day and discovered a brand new experience..Greg had supplied and installed a new 1TB SSD drive and transferred our photos back onto the new drive...and all for a great price!.. cannot recommend this service highly enough...have already told our Mac friends.

000000000000   My second hand 2011 macbook pro was slow to load anything after the new iso update. It took 1 minute to open finder, music and video editing was out of the question. I rang greg ( professor mac) before 12pm on monday, dropped off the macbook around 12ish. He installed 1T ssd, ran diagnostics and had it ready to pick up later that night. He managed to point me in the right direction to getting it fixed (just out of good will!) as I would possibly be able to get it done for free. I would've forked out 700 dollars for a repair or bought a completely new laptop if it had not been for him. 000000000000   I took my son's 2012 13" MacBookPro with a flickering screen and a loose screen hinge to them after the Apple Store told me it was a vintage unit and not repairable. They said it was either a new laptop (starting at $1500) or at least a new screen with a 3rd party repairer (around $300). Greg fixed it by reseating the screws and monitor cable connector for just $70. Absolute legend.

We were thinking of upgrading to a brand new laptop, but Greg suggested if we just changed the hard drive, we would see a dramatic difference! Wow was he right!
